The listed courthouse on Demmlerplatz is to be expanded into a justice center during running operations that will house all of Schwerin's courts. We are adding two wings to the striking urban figure of the existing building, reinterpreting the rear area of the development into a courtyard. The façade takes up the accentuation of individual parts of the building and transforms the structure and materiality of the existing façades into an abstract rhythm of massively framed openings.
