Few typologies have changed as much in recent years as libraries. In addition to quiet zones for concentrated study, information is offered with low thresholds, demanding spaces for exchange and shared learning. Information mediums are also subject to large and sometimes unpredictable changes. Thus the spaces for analog and digital media must be flexibly designed. Our design positions the university library at the new campus square. Its internal structure is characterized by a flexible, net-like system that can react to future changes and provides orientation and design character through non-displaceable spatial elements.
