Shifting spatial boundaries, opening up the field, widening the view - with our installation we counter the hermeticism of the bunker with suggestive spatial images that create an unexpected permeability and expanse.The installation is dedicated to the desire for space as a core architectural discipline, which we constantly reinvents through a combination of experimentation and precise design.

Culture:City

The exhibition "Culture: City," curated by Matthias Sauerbruch, takes a critical look at the relationship between architecture and social reality in the 21st century and shows how art and culture shape cities and architecture. The selection of international examples ranges from spectacular architectural and art projects to the creative repurposing of vacant buildings and urban areas to projects by citizens' initiatives.
The displayed models are supplemented by digital information and films on individual architectural projects by graduates of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. Staab Architekten are represented by the Museum Gunzenhauser in Chemnitz.

On the 75th anniversary of the Chemnitz Savings Bank, the designs for its conversion into a museum will be on display. They were developed for an appraisal. The historic building by Fred Otto will be honored as an important work of the New Objectivity.
