The Center for Islamic Theology on the Talcampus in Tübingenhas receive an award titled “Exemplary Building”. Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects honored buildings from the last eight years in the district of Tübingen that serve as models of building culture and positive structural development in the district. 
Together with the neighboring Theologikum, the new building forms a cross-religious campus for theology. The building, which is divided into a base and two angularly arranged wings, develops a calm presence on the sloping site while integrating the octagonal building of the Theologikum.
